Moving Collage Story Surrealism Poster

This project expands foundational image manipulation and vector graphic skills into motion design, resulting in a series of dynamic digital posters designed for minimal animation display. The objective was to create visually compelling compositions where elements are intentionally layered and prepared for subtle movement, transforming static visuals into engaging motion-based narratives.

Centred on the theme History of Clock Inventions, the series adopts a surreal, collage-inspired aesthetic to illustrate key milestones in timekeeping — from celestial observations of the sun and moon, to the clepsydra (298 B.C.), the hourglass (1337), and the cuckoo clock (1730). By compositing vintage clock elements, natural motifs, and symbolic materials such as water and sand, each poster visually represents the evolution of time. Subtle looping animations enhance the storytelling, bringing historical innovation to life through motion.
